Thao Nguyen

Thao Nguyen has six years of work experience, beginning in 2010. In 2010, Thao worked as a Part-time Employee at Pepper Lunch, where they took orders from customers, served food to tables, and handled cashiering duties. In 2013, Thao was a Student Assistant 3 at Self-paced Mathematics, Orange Coast College, where they tutored college students with Mathematics from Pre-Algebra to Intermediate Algebra and Trigonometry, assisted instructors with test grading, data entry, organizing and filing students' records, and database audit, and helped with technical errands. In 2016, Thao worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Skypatrol LLC, where they worked with a software development team on website development, mobile application development, quality assurance, and test automation, designed test plans and UI tested the Skypatrol GPS Vehicle Installation Android application, and completed the layout design and contributed to the functionality architecture of the company’s new application. In the same year, Thao was an Instructional Student Assistant at the Computer Science Department, California State University, Fullerton, where they collected, graded, and recorded grades of students’ homework, projects, and exams for a team of professors teaching Data Structures, created homework’s solutions, reviewed, documented, and tested code, and debugged version control systems for students’ project submission and automated grading scripts. In 2018, Thao worked as a Software Engineer at Ikon GPS, where they developed and maintained web applications and API web services with frameworks such as ASP . NET and Laravel using MVC patterns, and debugged, generated, and tested queries, stored procedures, functions, views, DB replications, and DB jobs on MS SQL Server. Thao is currently working as a Software Developer at Lojistic since 2019.

Thao Nguyen began their education in 2010, when they attended Jurong Junior College and obtained a High School degree in the Science Faculty. In 2012, they enrolled in Orange Coast College, where they studied Computer Science, and in 2015, they obtained a Certificate of Specialization in C++ Programming. Thao then continued their education at California State University, Fullerton, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in 2017.
