Gabriel Vásquez has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps and infrastructure management. Gabriel has worked as a DevOps Lead at Loka since 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at flugel.it from September 2018 to July 2022. Gabriel also worked as a DevOps AWS Cloud Administrator at Langroo in April 2018.
Before moving into DevOps, Gabriel was a Senior Infrastructure Analyst, ABAP Consultant, and DevOps Engineer at Laboratorios La Santé from November 2012 to August 2017. In this role, they were responsible for system administration, configuration, installation, monitoring, and support for IT services. Gabriel also had expertise in SAP ABAP programming and FLOSS solutions.
During their early career, Gabriel worked as a Junior Systems Analyst at NewTech Solutions Group from October 2011 to November 2012, and as a User end/Infrastructure Analyst at ONUVA from September 2009 to October 2011. At ONUVA, they gained experience as a Linux system administrator in migration projects and implementation of open-source systems.
Gabriel started their career as an End User Analyst at CANTV in April 2009.
Gabriel Vásquez attended Universidad Nueva Esparta from 2006 to 2011, where they obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering. Gabriel'sfield of study was Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician.
In addition to their formal education, Gabriel has obtained several certifications. In November 2011, they became a Linux Certified Professional (PCL) from Iseit. Then, in June 2014, they obtained the ITIL v3 certification from Kapacita Microsoft Partner.
Gabriel continued to expand their skills and certifications throughout their career. In May 2015, they achieved the SAP Certified Development Associate - ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.31 from SAP. Later, in June 2020, they earned the CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification from The Linux Foundation, and the Associate Cloud Engineer certification from Google.
Gabriel's commitment to professional development persisted, leading him to become an Amazon Web Services DevOps Engineer - Professional. Gabriel acquired this certification in June 2023 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
