Joel Nelson currently serves as VP of Operations and VP of Construction at Lokal Homes, a position held since August 2015. With prior experience as a Senior Project Manager at Toll Brothers from November 2011 to August 2015, Joel managed multiple communities in South Metro Denver and oversaw various aspects of land development and construction. Joel also held the role of General Manager at Trust Constructors from 2008 to 2011, where responsibilities included direct marketing and sales for residential construction projects. Early career highlights include a Project Manager role at Toll Brothers Inc. and serving as an Agent at Country Insurance & Financial Services, focusing on insurance product marketing and financial program development. Joel holds a BA in Economics with an emphasis in Business/Finance from Colorado College, obtained in 2002.

Lokal Homes is a Colorado-based homebuilder focused on building Condo, Townhome and Single Family Detached housing throughout the front range. Lokal began from a vision created by Dave Lemnah and Ryan Lantz, with a focus on standard features, excellent customer service and quality building. Since the inception in 2012, Lokal has closed nearly 2,000 homes from Ft. Collins to Colorado Springs.
