Jaya Palewar

Jaya Palewar has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. They began their career in 2016 as a co-founder of Red Apple NPO, where they contributed to the organization's establishment until 2018. In 2017, Jaya worked as the Treasurer at Saraswati Hostel, NSIT for a year.

Moving forward, they joined Sun Pharma as a Management Trainee for a brief period of one month in 2018. Following this, Jaya worked as a Summer Associate at Kanvic Consulting, where they gained experience in the consulting industry during the summer of 2018.

In 2020, Jaya assumed the role of a Data Scientist at Clix Capital from February to May. Later that year, they joined The star in me as a part of the Strategic projects team at the CEO's office for a period of three months.

Furthermore, Jaya joined Info Edge India Ltd in 2020 as their career progressed. They initially served as a Product Analyst from November 2020 to September 2021. Within this role, they achieved fast-track promotions and received an "Excellent" rating in all performance discussions. Jaya then took on the position of a Product Manager for Info Edge's in-house start-up, Job Hai, which focused on solving hiring in the Blue Grey collar sector. They played a key role in developing the Blue Collar Hiring Platform and released a jobseeker app on the Google Play store with a lifetime rating of 4.6.

Currently, Jaya Palewar is employed at Lokal as a Product Manager II, starting in January 2023.

Jaya Palewar has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology. In 2019-2020, Jaya pursued a Master's degree in Product Management & Artificial Intelligence at Plaksha University. Additionally, Jaya has obtained various certifications in subjects such as Software Product Management, Deep Learning Models with TensorFlow, Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Machine Learning: Regression, Sequence Models, Sequences, Time Series and Prediction, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects. The institutions providing these certifications include the University of Alberta, IBM Data Science Professional Certificate, and deeplearning.ai.
