Josiah J. Umezurike

Josiah J. Umezurike is the founder and CTO of Lokdon. Josiah previously worked as a security analyst and technical lead at the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control from January 2017 to August 2019. In this role, they led the solution implementation in assisting the DHEC CISO with security controls mitigation, coordinated and produced the Information Security Plan for DHEC through the CISO, and coordinated and produced the System Security Plan for DHEC through the CISO. Josiah also mentored, developed, and worked with BITS SOC in monitoring, detecting and responding to incidents. IRM was used to maximize business functionality and use-ability of DHEC services in light of Information Security. Josiah also planned, designed and implemented prototypes for security software.

Prior to working at the South Carolina Department of Health & Environmental Control, Josiah worked as a Sr. Security System Engineer at Bremer Bank from August 2014 to September 2014. In this role, they were responsible for migrating the Certificate Authority (CA), integrating Websense Proxy, modifying and designing Quest Reporter infra in a multiple domain environment, integrating ChangeAuditor and Intrust, and owning data security protection assets.

From February 2014 to July 2014, Josiah served as Cyber security tech Lead at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies. In this role, they were responsible for leading the company's cyber security efforts.

Josiah J. Umezurike attended St. Cloud State University for their Computer Engineering degree and Davenport University for their Network Security degree, both in the field of engineering.
