Carey Ransom serves as the Managing Director at BankTech Ventures, a $115M strategic investment fund focused on community banking and fintech. Additionally, Ransom is the Founder and Managing Partner of Operate, a venture studio that supports product-centric entrepreneurs in the data-centric software space. As the Founder and Host of Operate Podcast, Ransom engages with global innovators and entrepreneurs through discussions aimed at sharing insights on growth and operations. Ransom co-founded Bonus, a company redefining the home selling process to enhance financial security for homeowners. Investment and board roles include Torpago, PortX, Trnsact, SailPlan, Knit, and Short Story. Ransom holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Finance from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Economics from Indiana University Bloomington.
