Fabrizio Luca

Fabrizio Luca is a highly experienced surgical professional currently serving as Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery at Loma Linda University Health since October 2016. Prior to this role, Fabrizio held the position of Director of the Unit of Multidisciplinary Surgical Techniques at IEO from August 2014 to October 2016. Fabrizio also directed the Abdomino-Pelvic Surgery courses at the School of Robotic Surgery at the European Institute of Oncology from February 2010 to December 2015, and led the Unit of Integrated Abdominal Surgery at the European Institute of Oncology from July 2011 to August 2014. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and a Postgraduate School Degree in Emergency Surgery from the University of Milan - Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
