Hongzhe Li

Hongzhe Li is an accomplished academic and research scientist currently serving as an Associate Professor at Loma Linda University Health and a Research Scientist at VA Loma Linda Healthcare System since 2015. Prior experience includes work as an Assistant Scientist at Oregon Health and Science University from 2008 to 2015, focusing on auditory neurophysiology and ototoxicity, and earlier roles as a Senior Fellow at the University of Washington and Fred Hutch from 2004 to 2008, where research concentrated on DNA damage, gene silencing, and breast cancer. Additional experience includes a position as a Faculty Research Associate at Arizona State University in 2003-2004, studying acoustic signal processing. Hongzhe Li earned a PhD in Neurophysiology from Arizona State University and a BS in Life Science from Peking University.
