Karen Studer

Karen Studer is an accomplished medical professional and educator with significant experience in preventive medicine and public health. Currently serving as Chair of the Department of Preventive Medicine at Loma Linda University Health since July 2024, Karen also holds the position of Physician at SAC Health System and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. As Program Director of the Preventive Medicine Residency Program at Loma Linda University Health and Vice Chair of the Department of Preventive Medicine, Karen contributes extensively to medical education and residency training. Additionally, Karen holds the role of Assistant Professor in the School of Medicine and School of Public Health at Loma Linda University, where the responsibilities include directing the Population Medicine MPH program. Karen's academic background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University and a Master of Public Health, alongside an MBA focusing on Health Care Administration from the same institution.
