Penny Finders brings more than 20 years of strategic marketing and planning experience on behalf of leading B2B and B2C clients. Recent and ongoing Loma projects have included consulting and project management support for USC Information Sciences Institute, a regional public awareness campaign for the Rincon Tribe of Luiseno Indians, and marketing outreach for Scalable Network Technologies.

Penny leads the public engagement initiative for the California Coastal Commission, an innovative campaign designed to help sustain and improve the state’s coastline and ocean. She also plays a key role in Loma’s ongoing communications mission for NSF’s Convergence Accelerator program, a leading-edge applied research initiative tasked with speeding solutions to pressing national challenges.

During a 13-year run at DIRECTV, she played a key role in creating, organizing, and running the Relationship Marketing Department. When the company partnered with ENERGY STAR, Penny led all efforts to educate 20 million customers about DIRECTV’s more energy-efficient solutions. This resulted in DIRECTV customers saving billions of kilowatt-hours of electricity and hundreds of millions of dollars. DIRECTV earned the ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year-Sustained Excellence Award 6 consecutive times.

Penny initiated and led DIRECTV’s crisis communications during Hurricane Katrina, engaging with media and 1 million customers across the affected states. The program Penny created has served as the template for the company’s outreach efforts during subsequent natural disasters.

Her product and service marketing background includes engagements assisting the pre-launch positioning of Sony’s PlayStation Vue and leads copywriting for SiriusXM’s Retention & Communications group where she developed standardized templates for a multitude of FCC-required customer communications.

Before moving to the United States, she managed the world’s largest interactive Sports Science Exhibition at the National Museum of Science and Industry (aka The Science Museum) in London.
