Song Chen

Song Chen is an Associate Professor of Chinese History at Bucknell University, where service began in August 2011, after previously holding the position of Assistant Professor of Chinese History. In early 2015, Song Chen served as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chinese History at Harvard University. In 2010, participation in the NEH-IPAM Summer Institute for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities occurred. Earlier experience includes a role as Program Assistant in the Faculty Support Department at the China Europe International Business School from 2002 to 2003. Song Chen earned a Ph.D. in East Asian Languages and Civilizations from Harvard University between 2003 and 2011 and holds a Bachelor of Economics in International Economics from Fudan University, obtained from 1998 to 2002.
