Todd Suomela

Todd Suomela is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of digital pedagogy and data curation. Currently serving as the Associate Director for Digital Pedagogy & Scholarship at Bucknell University since September 2016, Suomela also held the position of Digital Pedagogy & Scholarship Specialist. Prior experience includes a role as a CLIR/DLF Postdoctoral Fellow in Data Curation at the University of Alberta, where collaboration with researchers and librarians led to significant advancements in research data management for the digital humanities. Academic contributions began as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee, focusing on data management practices in the astrobiology community. Additional experience spans consultancy roles, knowledge engineering, and business technology integration, alongside an educational background featuring a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of Tennessee, an MSI from the University of Michigan, and a Bachelor of Arts from Yale University.
