Natalia Valverde Vaquero

Natalia Valverde Vaquero is an experienced professional in regulatory compliance and legal advisory roles, currently serving as the Head of Regulatory Compliance at Lombard International Group since July 2018. Prior to this position, Natalia was a Senior Risk Specialist and held senior legal advisor roles at VITIS LIFE S.A. and BNP Paribas Cardif, overseeing legal matters in the Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American markets. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Legal Manager for Credit Agricole Asset Management, where supervision of a team and negotiation of distribution agreements were key responsibilities. Natalia gained foundational experience through a traineeship at the Court of Justice of the European Union and a brief position as an Assistant at Merril Lynch Investment Managers. Educational qualifications include a Master in European Law from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Degree in Law from Universidad de Salamanca, complemented by international studies in law at the University of Antwerp.
