Alan Layton

Alan Layton is an experienced financial professional with a robust background in public sector finance. Currently serving as an Independent Member of the Audit and Corporate Governance Committee for the London Borough of Camden since January 2023, Layton also holds the position of Interim Financial Professional at Croydon Council since August 2022. Prior to these roles, Layton has held various interim positions, including Interim Professional at Bristol City Council and Interim Head of Financial Planning at Birmingham City Council. Layton served as Head of Financial Planning and Head of Finance Business Partnering with the Government of Jersey from July 2019 to March 2020.
