Alex Kavanagh is an experienced policy and project management professional currently serving as Principal Projects and Policy Officer for the London Borough of Camden since June 2023. Prior roles include Team Leader for the Scottish Government's Scottish National Investment Bank Shareholder Team and ALB Reviews Team Lead at the Cabinet Office. Alex has significant expertise as a Senior Policy Advisor in both the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport and the Department for Communities and Local Government. Previous experiences include Programme Manager at Caritas Anchor House and participation in an arts project with TOWIEthics, in addition to roles in education and event management. Alex holds a Master of Arts in Arts Policy and Management from Birkbeck, University of London, and a degree in English Literature and Theatre Studies from the University of Leeds, along with international academic experience from Stockholm University and A Levels from Chesham High School.
