Natalie Broughton

Natalie Broughton is a highly experienced planning professional with a career spanning over two decades in various leadership roles within local government. Currently serving as Assistant Director Planning and Building Control at the London Borough of Hackney since January 2016, Natalie has also held multiple positions including Head of Planning and Building Control and Strategic Planning Manager within the same organization. Prior to this, experience at Enfield Council as Planning Policy Team Leader and other planning roles provided a strong foundation in urban planning and policy development. Natalie began the career as a Planning Officer at Aylesbury Vale District Council, following the attainment of a Bachelor of Social Science in Geography and Planning from the University of Birmingham and a Master’s Degree in Town Planning from the University of Westminster.
