Nigel Minto

Nigel Minto has extensive experience in housing policy and strategy, currently serving as the Head of Housing Policy & Strategy at the London Borough of Hackney since March 2014. Prior roles include leading housing and planning efforts at London Councils and sustainable community initiatives at the Association of London Government. Nigel’s background also includes significant contributions as a Special Advisor at the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, focusing on policy guidance and operational support for local authorities. Earlier experience encompasses positions at the National Housing Federation and local councils. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Policy and Research from London South Bank University, along with a BA in Politics & American Studies from the University of Sussex and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts & Literature from The Open University.
