Samantha Meakin

Samantha Meakin is an experienced HR professional currently serving as the Head of People and Culture at London City Lionesses, the first independent women's professional football club in London, since November 2024. Prior to this role, Samantha held multiple positions at Brentford Football Club from September 2019 to November 2024, including Head of HR Services, Head of HR and Wellbeing, and HR Business Partner. Samantha's experience also includes serving as Global HR Manager at StatPro from April 2011 to September 2019, where responsibilities spanned global HR activities, and as HR Manager for the EMEA region. Previous roles include Head of HR at Ocean Sky Aviation (2008-2011), HR Manager at Citizens Advice (2005-2008), and HR Advisor at Defra (2002-2005). Samantha holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management from 2013-2014.
