Julie Peters is an experienced fundraising and business development professional with a strong background in social impact and community development. Currently serving as Fundraising Manager for Strategic Projects at London City Mission since April 2021, Julie focuses on enhancing church initiatives aimed at reaching marginalized communities in London. Formerly, Julie held significant roles including Deputy CEO and Business Development Portfolio lead at Rays of Hope in Johannesburg, where strategic business planning for community programs was developed, and Founder and Executive Director of Philimpilo Community Care, which provided psychosocial support for families affected by HIV/AIDS. Previous experience includes Deputy Director at Student Sponsorship Programme and Business Development Director at Unsung Heroes, emphasizing capacity building and strategic planning. Julie's educational background includes advanced training from Yale School of Management and degrees in psychology and biblical studies, complemented by various certifications in marketing and supply management.

We serve the church of London in sharing the love of God and the good news of Jesus Christ with the neediest of London. Our calling is to go to the least reached of London – those living in poverty, on the margins of society or from other cultures. The gospel is at the heart of all we do, because London needs Jesus.
