Javier Agustín Maquieyra is a seasoned energy policy expert with extensive experience in consulting, project assessment, and economic modeling. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at London Economics International LLC since August 2019, Javier has previously held roles as a Consultant and Research Associate within the same company. Javier's work includes developing an energy model for a HVDC transmission line during a summer associate position at Sustainable Westchester, Inc. Prior to that, Javier served as the Director of Project Assessment and Energy Policy at the Ministry of Energy and Mining, where responsibilities included defining energy forecasts and analyzing regulations. Earlier career highlights include coordinating policies at the National Regulatory Entity of Electricity and creating Computable General Equilibrium models as an independent consultant.
