Julian Martin

Julian Martin has extensive experience in information technology and service management, currently serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at London Fire Brigade since 2002, where responsibilities include overseeing digital and IT services for over 6000 users across more than 100 locations, as well as managing the Vision 999 command and control system. Prior experience includes serving as Support Services Manager at Energis Communications from 1999 to 2002, focusing on service desk operations, asset management, and producing business cases, budgets, and MIS reports. Earlier, Martin was the Technical Support Manager at West Berkshire Council from 1990 to 1999, managing technical support services and overseeing the installation and support of critical systems, including NetWare 4. Educational background includes attendance at Truro School from 1976 to 1983.
