Leon Whitley

Leon Whitley is an accomplished Community Engagement Officer at the London Fire Brigade, serving since June 2009 and recognized for award-winning contributions to community engagement. Whitley has developed the position statement for London Fire Brigade’s knife and youth violence strategy, collaborating closely with the community to align with London’s Serious Violence Duty. In addition, Whitley is a fully competent firefighter with extensive training in various emergency response areas, including water and line rescue, as well as Immediate Emergency Care. Since January 2015, Whitley has also pursued a career as a music recording artist under the name Leon Flames.
