Richard Cook

Richard Cook is a skilled firefighter currently serving with the London Fire Brigade since December 2023, following experience as a firefighter with Essex County Fire and Rescue Service from April 2021 to June 2024. Prior to their firefighting career, Richard held various roles at Nuffield Health from September 2015 to March 2023, including soft tissue therapist, personal trainer, and fitness manager. Richard also has a background as a certified sports therapist and personal trainer. In the Royal Navy from 2011 to October 2015, Richard worked as a mine warfare specialist, and earlier experience includes serving as a chalet host with Ski Famille and as a fitness instructor at The Edge Health and Fitness Club. Educational qualifications include a BTEC Level 5 Diploma in Soft Tissue Therapy from the London School of Sports Massage and several certifications in medical acupuncture, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, and kinesiology taping.
