Alex MacDonald

Alex MacDonald is a Resident Physician in the Department of Psychiatry at London Health Sciences Centre, currently engaged in a rotation in Childhood Psychiatry at the Child and Parent Research Institute. With a strong background in cognitive neuroscience, Alex has served as a Research Assistant for Dr. Adrian Owen at the Brain & Mind Research Institute, examining neuroimaging and cognitive studies involving brain-injured patients, and has also conducted research at various prestigious institutions, including the Toronto Western Hospital and Centre de recherche du CHUM. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto and ongoing residency training in Psychiatry at Western University, following an undergraduate degree in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from McGill University.
