Emilie Lalonde

Emilie Lalonde, PhD, FACMG, is a Molecular Geneticist and Cytogeneticist at London Health Sciences Centre since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology at Wayne State University and as Technical Director at Detroit Medical Center. Emilie has held previous positions at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia as Assistant Technical Director and completed a Clinical Molecular Genetics Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Academic achievements include a PhD in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto, where research focused on clinical and molecular markers in localized prostate cancer, and a Master's in Human Genetics and Bioinformatics from McGill University, where new techniques for analyzing next-generation sequencing data were developed.
