Jacob Turowec is a Genome Analyst at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) since February 2021. Prior to this role, Jacob worked as a Scientist at Ranomics from November 2018 to January 2021 and served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto from May 2013 to October 2018, where contributions included utilizing CRISPR/Cas9 functional genomics to identify novel co-targeting strategies for therapeutic antibodies. Jacob obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from Western University, where research was conducted in the Litchfield Lab, and also studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012.
