Josh Chan is currently a Research Assistant at the University of Calgary and holds multiple research student positions, including at the Translation Health & Outcomes Research Lab and Western University. Chan's research work encompasses projects on hypertension self-management, hidden curricula in medical education, and the evaluation of oncologic outcomes in renal cell carcinoma treatments. Additionally, Chan has contributed to the Boom.health initiative by promoting health services and writing health blogs. Previous experiences include summer research roles at the University Health Network, participation in the Western Student Research Conference, and presentation of findings on cerebrospinal fluid drainage at scientific meetings. Chan earned an Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences at Western University and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Upper Canada College.
