Milad Khaki

Milad Khaki is an accomplished ML and Data Engineering Specialist with a focus on Clinical Neuroscience Applications at London Health Sciences Centre since September 2023. Previously, Milad served as a Lead Biomedical Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer at Robarts Research Institute, where responsibilities included designing ML-based classification systems for visual working memory and developing algorithms for seizure detection in epilepsy patients. In addition to research, Milad has experience as an Embedded Systems Engineer at the University of Waterloo's Centre for Intelligent Antenna and Radio Systems and as a Course Instructor for "Neural Systems Engineering" at Western University. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Waterloo, along with master's degrees in Software Engineering and Intelligent Systems from the University of Alberta and in Artificial Intelligence from Amirkabir University of Technology, complemented by a BS in Electrical Engineering from K. N. Toosi University of Technology.
