Steve Kovacs

Steve Kovacs has over three decades of experience in facilities management and engineering. Currently serving as a Facilities Management-Operations Engineer and Patient Equipment Technician at LHSC since 1987, Steve focuses on energy-from-waste power plant commissioning and emergency responses for critical medical systems. Previous experience includes a role as Production Supervisor at Scandia Metal, overseeing electroplating processes and general plant operations. Steve holds an Operating Engineer's Designation from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and a degree in Adult Education and Lifelong Learning from Fanshawe College, which includes studies in business management and digital imaging.
