Davide Faranda is a seasoned researcher with a strong background in theoretical meteorology and dynamical systems. Currently, Davide serves as Directeur de recherche at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique since October 2015 and as a Researcher and External Fellow at the London Mathematical Laboratory since September 2017. Prior academic experience includes a PhD program in Theoretical Meteorology at U. Hamburg / KlimaCampus from September 2011 to January 2013, focusing on Extreme Events theory, Bifurcation Theory, and Linear Response Theory, and a PhD program at the University of Reading from September 2010 to August 2011. Davide earned a Master's degree in Physics from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna from 2005 to 2010 and holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Climat from the University of Hamburg.
