Tabitha Silverwood has a diverse and extensive work experience. Tabitha started their career at PwC in 2004 as a Senior Manager, specializing in investment management audits and FCA client assets reporting. Tabitha worked in the company's Edinburgh/Glasgow offices until September 2010 and then moved to their London office. Tabitha also had a secondment to PwC Canberra in Spring 2007, where they conducted audits in the utility and retail sectors and provided telecoms sector due diligence. In 2014, they joined the London Metal Exchange as the Head of External Reporting and held various roles, including Acting CFO and Head of Finance. Most recently, they served as the Chief Financial Officer of the London Metal Exchange, starting in May 2022.

Tabitha Silverwood began their education at Methodist College Belfast from 1988 to 1995. After completing their secondary education, they attended The University of Edinburgh from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained an undergraduate degree in History. Following this, they pursued further studies at The University of Edinburgh from 2002 to 2003 and obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in International and European Politics. Finally, from 2004 to 2007, Tabitha attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, where they obtained a CA degree.
