Reagan Pearce

Reagan Pearce is a PhD student at University College London since April 2021, focusing on a thesis entitled "Bringing back the burbot via hydrological rewilding," under the supervision of a diverse group of academics from UCL, KCL, QMUL, and the University of Hull. In addition to this research, Reagan is enrolled in the London NERC Doctoral Training Partnership, participating in interdisciplinary training in environmental science. Previous experience includes roles as a content creator at Atomi Education, where engaging educational scripts were developed for UK Geography A-levels, a lab assistant at King's College London contributing to Arduino-based projects, and a research assistant at King's College London, deploying environmental sensors in the Okavango River Basin. Reagan holds a PGCert in Conservation from UCL and a BSc in Geography from King's College London, with additional studies at the University of Copenhagen.

The London NERC DTP is a partnership of nine prestigious research organisations across London, funded by the Natural Environment Research Council. Our aim is to attain new standards of excellence in environmental science research training, and deliver a transformative inter-disciplinary experience for PhD students in the heart of London. We currently fund 142 PhD students in the natural sciences.
