Alexander Hampton

Alexander Hampton is a Senior Data Scientist at London North Eastern Railway, having previously held positions as a Data Scientist at Pivigo and participated in the S2DS PRO project. Prior experience includes a Data Science Fellowship through the Science to Data Science program, and a PhD in Chemistry from Durham University, where research focused on selective difluorinating methodologies. Additional experiences range from an industrial secondment at Syngenta, to roles in customer service and leadership in various capacities, including as an Activity Councillor and Fog Harvesting Researcher. Alexander holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from Durham University and has a foundation in science nurturing from an earlier career as an Open Day Ambassador.
