Laurie Watt has a distinguished career in the arts and music sectors, serving in various leadership roles since 1977. Currently a Governor at Langley Hall Arts Academy and Primary Academy, Laurie is also a Board Trustee and Director at HENRY WOOD HALL LIMITED, and an Advisory Council Member and Honorary Life Member of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, where involvement dates back to the formation of the LPO Council in 1981. Laurie holds positions as a Member of the Board of Directors for Awards for Young Musicians and as a founding Trustee of the Hanover Band Foundation.
