Alexander Carter

Alexander Carter is an Associate Professor at The London School of Economics and Political Science, serving as co-director of the executive MSc in Health Economics, Outcomes, and Management in Clinical Sciences, and an instructor for the "Modelling Cost-Effectiveness in Healthcare" online course. With experience as a Senior Lecturer in Practice at LSE, Alexander leads courses on economic evaluation and healthcare financing. Additionally, Alexander is an Interim co-director at Imperial College London and contributes as an honorary senior lecturer and research fellow in health economics. Current roles include leading a health economics work package for the Hypermarker EU Horizon project and serving as a senior consultant for LSE Enterprise Ltd. Previous advisory roles include contributions to the World Health Organization and academic reviews for various national health research programs. Alexander holds a PhD in Health Economics from Imperial College London and a postgraduate certificate in Higher Education from LSE.
