Daqing Chen

Daqing Chen serves as the Deputy Head of the Division of Computer Science and Informatics at London South Bank University, a position held since July 1999. In addition, Daqing Chen is the Course Director for the MSc Data Science program and has been involved as a Senior Lecturer in Informatics, overseeing the BSc and Top-up Business Intelligence courses. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Fellow at both the University of Nantes from June 1998 to July 1999 and at London South Bank University, as well as working as a Research Associate at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 1997 to 1998 and as an Associate Professor at Xidian University from January 1994 to November 1997. Daqing Chen holds a PhD in Automatic Control Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, an MPhil in Automatic Control Engineering from the National University of Defense Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University.
