Steve Vear

Steve Vear is an accomplished basketball professional with extensive experience in coaching, administration, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as Global Director at Deng Camp and U16W National Team Assistant Coach for England Basketball since 2015, Steve also holds roles as U17 Girls RDT Head Coach and U15 Girls RPC Assistant Coach. In addition, Steve is the Head Women's Basketball Coach at London South Bank University and Chairman of Brixton Topcats, where responsibilities include overseeing the WBBL program. As CEO of the Luol Deng Foundation, Steve focuses on expanding basketball initiatives while managing strategic goals and staff. Previous experience includes a leadership role in basketball operations for the London 2012 Olympic Games and earlier coaching and administrative positions with KEY Basketball Coaching and The Luol Deng Foundation UK. Steve holds a BSc Hons in Sports Sciences from Kingston University.
