Valerio Ficcadenti

Valerio Ficcadenti is an Associate Professor in Business Research Methods at London South Bank University since September 2023, focusing on Text Mining, Natural Language Processing, and their applications in Economics, Finance, and Politics, with a record of publishing annual REF-eligible papers. Previously, as a Senior Lecturer from January 2020 to July 2023, Valerio contributed significantly to the REF 2021, securing funding and enhancing the institution's research reputation. Valerio also held roles as Deputy Director of Research and Enterprise at LSBU, Pricing Specialist at Deloitte, and Postdoctoral Fellow at Università Politecnica delle Marche, specializing in financial derivatives and numerical analysis. Valerio's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods for Economic Policy, a Master's in Finance and Banking, and a Bachelor's in Economics and Finance.
