Adam Orton

Adam Orton is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Cyber Threat Intelligence and Threat Hunting at LSEG since December 2022. Prior to this role, Adam held the position of Director - Cyber Threat Intelligence and Investigations at Pearson, where responsibilities included building a greenfield cyber threat intelligence program and transitioning security operations from reactive to proactive. Adam's extensive background includes roles at notable companies such as Facebook, where Adam was a Security Engineer focused on threat detection, as well as Secureworks, where Adam contributed to threat research within the Counter Threat Unit. Additionally, Adam has experience in technical security design with Airwave and served as a Cyber Security Specialist at the UK Ministry of Defence. Adam holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth and has completed several programs at the SANS Technology Institute.
