Emma York

Emma York currently serves as the Corporate Chief Data Officer and Head of Enterprise Information Governance at LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) since January 2023. In this role, Emma is responsible for data strategy, implementation and governance of data and records, operational resilience, master data management, and data quality, while leading multiple teams including the Data Governance Office and Records Management Office. Prior to LSEG, Emma held various executive positions at Morgan Stanley from August 2007 to January 2023, including Executive Director of Data Center of Excellence and Head of Data Governance & Global Data Operations. Emma began the professional journey in 2003, shortly after obtaining a degree in Economics from the University of Leeds in 2006.
