Gabriele Martinelli is a seasoned professional in the power market sector, currently serving as the Head of European Power Research at LSEG since October 2018, leading a team of analysts to support power traders with vital data and forecasts. Previously, Gabriele held roles such as Lead Analyst and Senior Analyst for European Power, focusing on market analysis and the development of mathematical models. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Analyst for Nordic Power at Thomson Reuters and a Research Scientist role at Schlumberger. Gabriele also holds a PhD in Statistics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and has completed multiple degrees in Mathematical Engineering.
