John Cowlin

John Cowlin is an experienced professional in risk intelligence and financial crime prevention, currently serving as Director of Risk Intelligence Data at LSEG since June 2022. Prior to this role, John has held multiple positions at Refinitiv, including Risk Content Manager and Head of the World-Check Process Specialist Group, where expertise in product management has been leveraged to integrate technologies like natural language processing and artificial intelligence into content authoring processes. Additionally, John has experience as Head of the Process Specialist Group at Thomson Reuters-GRC, focusing on workflow automation solutions. An academic background in finance and strategy is supported by a B.Econ and B.Comm Hons degree obtained at Stellenbosch University.
