Nayeem Syed

Nayeem Syed currently serves as the Senior Legal Director for Technology at the London Stock Exchange Group since January 2021. Concurrently, Nayeem holds the position of Chair of the Board of Governors at Ark Putney School, beginning in August 2016. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant General Counsel at Refinitiv from May 2013 to January 2021 and as a Senior Legal Consultant at Google from September 2011 to September 2012. Nayeem also worked as General Counsel for MTV Networks (UKI & Nordics) between 2005 and 2007, and as Director and Legal Counsel for EMEA at Warner Bros. Entertainment from 1997 to 2003. Early career experience includes a role as Trainee/Associate at Schillings from 1995 to 1997. Nayeem is a graduate of institutions including London Business School, UCL, and King's College London, and has been admitted as an Attorney by the New York Bar Association and as a Solicitor by the Law Society of England and Wales.
