Richard Higginbottom

Richard Higginbottom is an experienced finance professional with a diverse background in financial management and data systems. Currently serving as the Director of Finance for Master Data at LSEG since March 2021, Richard previously held similar roles at Refinitiv from October 2018 to February 2021, where significant changes were implemented to support the company's operation as an independent enterprise. Prior to that, Richard spent over a decade at Thomson Reuters, where as Manager of BI Master Data, Richard designed reference data structures for the company’s first in-house Business Intelligence solution. Richard’s career began at Christies in 1996, culminating in the role of Head of Financial Systems. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Managerial & Administrative Studies from Aston University and a BTEC National Diploma in Business Studies from Norwich City College.
