Dr Deveril

Dr. Deveril is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Learning Support at London Studio Centre, specializing in Dance on Screen, Dance History, and Performance Theory since September 2016. With extensive experience as a Director, Editor, and Producer since April 2003, Dr. Deveril has developed a diverse portfolio in video and media. Previous roles include Creative Director at Visuads, where innovative video promotions were created for local businesses, and Distance Learning BA Theatre Programme Leader at GSA, University of Surrey, focusing on course material preparation for distance learning. As a PhD Supervisor at SMARTlab, Dr. Deveril led research in Live and Multimedia Performance and contributed to the PhD Programme. Additional experience includes serving as Video Coordinator at The Place and training teachers in video making at Cineclub. Dr. Deveril holds a PhD in Dance from the University of Surrey and multiple advanced degrees in related fields from various institutions.
