Dan Black

Daniel Black currently serves as Superintendent for Londonderry NH School District since July 2022, following a role as Interim Superintendent. Prior experience includes Assistant Superintendent positions at Londonderry Public Schools from July 2017 to June 2022 and SAU 29 - Keene School District from July 2013 to June 2017. Daniel Black began a career in education as a Principal at the NYC Department of Education from July 2007 to June 2013 and as a Teacher at IDEA Public Schools from August 1999 to June 2003. Educational qualifications include a Masters of Public Policy in Education from Harvard University, a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Vanderbilt University, and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Education from Plymouth State University.

Londonderry, NH School District consists of: 1 Pre-school/Kindergarten (Moose Hill), 3 Elementary Schools (North, Matthew Thornton and South School), 1 Middle School (Londonderry Middle School) and 1 Senior High School (Londonderry High School) We have a total student population of 5471. Our faculty consists of 450 Teachers, 50 Administrators, 50 Allied Health Professionals and assorted other positions for a total of 1000 employees.
