Eric Haney

Eric Haney is the Chief Technology Officer for Lone Star Analytics. Including his previous roles as Deputy CTO and as Lead Analyst, Eric has been in integral member of the Lone Star team since joining us in 2014.

Eric Haney is the Chief Technology Officer for Lone Star Analytics and has served in this role since 2018. He is responsible for guiding the technical direction of the company. His principal goal is to connect individuals with the information required to make pragmatic, objective decisions.

Eric previously served as the Deputy Chief Technology Officer and before that as an Analyst at Lone Star. His contributions included the execution of more than 15 client engagements in the aerospace & defense, logistics, and transportation markets. In parallel, he spurred multiple extensions to the TruNavigatorSM software suite to improve analytical capability and increase modeling efficiency.

Eric completed his doctorate in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington culminating in his dissertation, Data Engineering in Aerospace Systems Design & Forecasting. His academic research team’s collaborations with DARPA and NASA have been published in The Aeronautical Journal. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
