Dalton Douglas, MHA, CPHQ

Dalton Douglas has a diversified work experience in various healthcare and non-healthcare organizations. Dalton currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Intelligence & Population Health at Lone Star Circle of Care since September 2022. In this role, Dalton is responsible for conducting data needs analysis, developing strategies, and managing a team for data analysis and BI platform development.

Prior to this, Dalton worked at Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) from August 2018 to February 2022 as a Clinical Business Intelligence Manager. Dalton led a team of analysts and expanded reporting dimensions using existing BI tools.

From March 2011 to August 2018, they served as a Clinical Information Analyst at Kaiser Permanente. In this role, Dalton managed projects, provided quantitative analysis on quality measures, and implemented evidence-based practices.

Dalton also has experience as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Phoenix from March 2012 to March 2018, where they taught courses related to their expertise.

Before entering the healthcare field, Dalton worked as an Engineer Technician II at Clackamas County from January 2007 to March 2011. Their responsibilities included data management, coordination of traffic studies, and aligning department goals with the overall goals of the county.

Additionally, they gained experience as a Graduate Intern at Salem Hospital, where they designed and implemented a reporting tool for process improvement and conducted strategic planning for the medical lab. Dalton also worked as a Graduate Intern at the Coalition of Community Health Clinics in Portland.

Dalton's early career included a role as a Teller at Washington Mutual Bank from October 2005 to September 2006.

Dalton Douglas, MHA, CPHQ completed their Bachelor's degree in Science at Portland State University from 2005 to 2007. Dalton then pursued their Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Pacific University from 2009 to 2011. Additionally, Dalton completed a Masters of Healthcare Administration degree at Pacific University during the same time period.
