Irene Kelly

Irene Kelly has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Irene started their career as an Office Manager at Lone Star Circle of Care in March 2010 and held that position until August 2013. In this role, they were responsible for managing the daily operations of the office.

After their role as Office Manager, Irene progressed to become a Compliance Manager at Lone Star Circle of Care. From August 2013 to April 2023, they investigated and resolved all compliance issues related to medical coding, medical record documentation, and reimbursement activities. Irene worked closely with various stakeholders within the company to implement processes and update policies.

In March 2023, Irene was promoted to the position of Senior Coding Compliance Manager at Lone Star Circle of Care. Their responsibilities in this role include overseeing coding compliance and ensuring adherence to coding regulations and guidelines.

Prior to working at Lone Star Circle of Care, Irene worked at Johns Hospital as a Billing/Front Desk Manager from January 1990 to March 2010. In this role, they were responsible for managing billing and front desk operations.

Throughout their career, Irene has developed strong skills in compliance, coding, and medical record documentation, making their a valuable asset to any healthcare organization.

Irene Kelly attended the American Academy of Professional Coders in 2012, where they received certifications as a Certified Professional Coder and Certified Professional Compliance Officer. Their field of study was Medical Insurance Coding Specialist/Coder/Compliance. Prior to that, they attended the California College of Respiratory Therapy from 1981 to 1983, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Respiratory Care Therapy/Therapist.
