Amanda Foster Clements

Amanda Foster Clements has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Amanda started their career in 2009 as a School-Based Community Intervention Specialist at Mid South Health Systems. Amanda then worked as a Physical Education Teacher at Lighthouse Academies from 2011 to 2012. Amanda then transitioned to Benoit School District, where they served as a 6-8 Math Teacher and 9th Grade Physical Education Teacher from 2012 to 2013. Amanda briefly worked as a Development Coordinator at White River Health Systems in 2013, before joining Knox County Schools as a 7th Grade Math Teacher in 2014. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a 6-8 Health and Safety Teacher at Knox County Schools. In 2017, they became the Director of Fire Services at York County, South Carolina, a role they held until 2019. Amanda then joined Siemens as an Operations Supervisor from 2019 to 2022. Most recently, they have worked as a Program Manager at Lone Star Communications, Inc. since 2022 and will continue in that role at State Systems starting in 2023.

Amanda Foster Clements attended the University of Arkansas from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.E.). Their field of study at the university was Kinesiology, P-12 Teaching Physical Education, Wellness, and Leisure. Later, in 2013 and 2014, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) at Arkansas Tech University, specializing in Emergency Management and Homeland Security.
